revival crusade band shoot...

had the opportunity to shoot the outrageously tight Revival Crusade while they did a 'studio session' last weekend. after the session i pulled the boys into my makeshift studio to get some headshots.

these were shot with a combination of a disposable point-and-shoot, an olympus OM-2 and a pentax spotmatic. 

busy bee...

the last week or so has been pretty busy. basically since my exhibition opening things have been moving along quite well. had my 30th last weekend which was fun, fun times. did a couple of shoots and have been planning an assignment which I have been commissioned by the adelaide city council to shoot.

so the exhibition opening went down really, really well!! i was truly honored by the turnout AND the number of prints that sold. wow. was an awesome night!

a new work in progress: 'how to make a beat'

i've spent the last coupe of weeks trying to come up with some new essay ideas that i can shoot close to home. i've spent a lot of time in the ad lab recently watching him make beats and recored rappers so it dawned on me hat i should document the beat making process.

was out in the city around dusk the other day a took few snaps using the light from shops to illuminate the passersby and surrounds.

ANZAC day essay...

on anzac day, i organized to follow around one of the vets who was taking part in the parade. he was a vietnam vet and a pretty nice guy to hang out with for the day.
i met him at the 'almost' dawn service at the repat hospital, went to his house for brekky, hit the big march in the city and then went to the keswick barracks for the 'after parade piss-up'.
