a new work in progress: 'how to make a beat'

i've spent the last coupe of weeks trying to come up with some new essay ideas that i can shoot close to home. i've spent a lot of time in the ad lab recently watching him make beats and recored rappers so it dawned on me hat i should document the beat making process.

ANZAC day essay...

on anzac day, i organized to follow around one of the vets who was taking part in the parade. he was a vietnam vet and a pretty nice guy to hang out with for the day.
i met him at the 'almost' dawn service at the repat hospital, went to his house for brekky, hit the big march in the city and then went to the keswick barracks for the 'after parade piss-up'.
here's a small taste of what i shot:
